Do digital picture frames use batteries

I am considering buying a digital photo frame for my parents. Having looked

actually say you can use batteries although one mentioned having a 
rechargable battery l do not know what is the standard ?

Generally speaking I think most of them just plug into the

Some use a DC power supply while others use bateries, See the
